Solstice fire on the Hahnenkopf

The traditional solstice fire will once again take place in Faschina. On Saturday, June 20, the annual solstice fire will be ignited on the "Hahnenköpfle" in Faschina, thus drawing attention to the solstice.

With catering (7.00 p.m.), there will be a fitting musical accompaniment featuring groups from the region. Among others, "Alphornbläser/Weisenbläser" from Fontanella will be present with harmonious melodies, solo vocalist "Roland Franzoi" with suitable folk songs on his contrabass guitar, and the local trio "Alpen-Sound". At approximately 8.30 p.m., the solstice fire will then be ignited at Hahnenkopf, during which surrounding solstice fires can also be observed from the "Hahnenköpfle".

A special highlight for children is the individual torch hike to the Franz-Josef Hut and back to Faschina. (Torch distribution at Hahnenköpfle for a fee of € 2.00 each)
