The medicine wheel can be found in many tribal cultures. It served as a guide for orientation and real everyday coping. But it was much more than that. It was considered a model of life itself.
For everything that happened out there in nature, people were part of it.

Thus, the Sacred Circle of Nature was regarded as a symbol of human life. Humans are also part of these natural cycles. Each direction can be seen as a place or quality - perhaps even as a challenge of inner processes.

In the constant and genuine journey through the qualities, we can contemplate the human developmental phases and their respective tasks. Thus, we also gain an understanding of transitions and their character.

Every inner growth requires the willingness and openness for the transformative processes of life.

Transitions or thresholds are as important as the qualities themselves. Clinging to a life phase means stagnation, a standstill in inner growth. Here too, the yearly cycle in nature serves as a great model.
