3-Day Hiking Tour: Faludriga Nova | Bludenz
An impressive 3-day hut-to-hut hike starting at the Muttersberg Cable Car, passing through the Frassenhütte and Freiburger Hütte, and ending in Außerbraz, featuring a variety of mountain and alpine trails.
Tour description
Stage 1:
You start at theMuttersberg Cable Car Valley Station andhike along well-marked trails tothecozyFrassenhütte atapprox. 1,725 m. Along the way, you’ll catch your first glimpses of the mountain scenery and the tranquility of the high mountains.
Duration: approx. 4 hours
Stage 2:
From theFrassenhütte, youcontinueyour tour along varied mountain trails into the heart ofFaludriga Nova. This diverse day’s stage takes you past alpine meadows and rocky landscapes to theFreiburger Hütte, which is beautifully situated on Lake Formarin—a wonderful spot for a well-deserved break and your second overnight stay.
Duration:approx. 8 hours
Stage 3:
On the final day, you’ll hike from theFreiburger Hüttealong mountain trails tothe Mason Alpe. From there, the trail winds steeply through the forest and eventually down into the valley toAußerbraz. You’ll return to Bludenz by bus.
Duration: approx. 4.5 hours

Equipment
Sturdy footwear, warm clothing, rain and sun protection, a snack, a filled water bottle, and hiking poles are recommended. Additionally, bring gear for an overnight stay in a mountain hut. A cell phone for emergencies.
