Culinary Delight Tours
The Culinary Delight Tours in Brandnertal combine movement in nature with traditional cuisine – both in summer and in winter. At both locations, Brand and Bürserberg, three courses featuring regional specialties await, served in selected mountain huts along the route.
In summer, you hike from hut to hut, while the winter edition takes you across the slopes on skis – always accompanied by warm hospitality, stunning mountain views, and the authentic flavors of the Brandnertal.

Want to be outdoors and eat well at the same time? With the Brandnertal Culinary Tour, you can do both. On your hike, you will stop at three stations, each offering a small but exquisite selection of regional dishes. Simple, honest, and made with love.

Walking time: approx. 5 hours Length: 12.9 km
Ascent: approx. 130 m elevation gain
Descent: approx. 800 m elevation loss
Equipment: Hiking boots with grippy tread, water bottle, sun and rain protection, hiking poles, cell phone for emergencies
Cable Car ride: The ascent and any additional descent are not included in the price. You will need two one-way tickets to Frööd; we recommend a day pass if you also plan to take the descent with the Palüdbahn. Ticket prices at shop.bergbahnen-brandnertal.at
- Please note: The Brand Pleasure Loop is available Wednesday through Sunday. However, the Palüdbahn operates only Friday through Sunday. This means that anyone wishing to hike the Brand Pleasure Loop on Wednesday or Thursday must plan for a hike down to the valley.
Public transportation: Take the Landbus 580 to the “Brand, Dorfbahn” stop; for schedule information, visit www.vmobil.at. The bus ticket is not included in the price; however, public transportation is free for guest card holders!

The day begins with a Viennese breakfast featuring bread, pastries, butter, and jam, including a hot beverage at Restaurant Frööd

Option 1 Alpengasthof Melkbden: Cheese spaetzle with a mixed salad or farmer's fried potatoes with a mixed salad, including a small drink

Afternoon Sweet Treat
