Together with his best friend Philippe and dog Lucky, filmmaker Mathias hops on his bike and embarks on a journey that is as unusual as it is personal across Europe. The chaotic trio follows the route that Mathias' late son Youri took himself a few years earlier – from the French Atlantic coast to the Black Sea. What begins as a quiet search for traces turns into a surprisingly cheerful adventure full of unexpected encounters. With each stage, the two friends approach the loss in both touching and humorous ways – and yet celebrate life.
