ALPINALE Kurzfilmestival in Bludenz

For more than 40 years, the ALPINALE Short Film Festival has been a highlight for film fans and culture enthusiasts. Also this year, ALPINALE will turn on the projector again for five evenings to showcase the best short films to the audience in front of the Remise.

In preparation, the ALPINALE team screened over 1300 short films this year from more than 94 countries. The "Golden Unicorn" will be awarded in a total of six categories. An international jury will award the best films in the categories of Short Fiction, Animation, V-Shorts, Virtual Reality, and Horror. The audience will also present awards – both the best children's film and a favorite from the international competition will be honored with a "Golden Unicorn." The winning films of all categories will be presented again on Saturday, August 15, during the award ceremony. Even in the 41st edition of the ALPINALE Short Film Festival, the audience can expect a diverse program featuring exciting, humorous, and extraordinary short films from all over the world.
